Small Sun Rosette stud earrings with a gold-plated finish. They symbolize the Sun as the source of life and protection against darkness, evil forces, and misfortune.
The symbol is composed of numerous symmetrical petals radiating outward, evoking rays of light.
Historically, it was most commonly used on ceramics and in wood carving on chests, pillars, and doors.
