The set includes the “Red Iris Brooch for B. Slančíková-Timrava” and “Red Earrings for B. Slančíková-Timrava” in red and burgundy shades with rose gold.
The jewelry is dedicated to Slovak writer Božena Slančíková-Timrava and inspired by the traditional folk costume from her native village of Polichno. The collection was created as a tribute to prominent Slovak female writers and inspired by the timelessness of their literary works, which continue to inspire generations to this day. May these everlasting flowers remind us of their enduring greatness and legacy.

Flowers for Slovek female writers

Continuation of the original series Flowers for Slovak Women Writers, which was created as a tribute to prominent Slovak women writers and inspired by the timelessness of the artistic works they created, from which generations continue to draw inspiration to this day. The original trio of writers (Terézia Vansová, Božena Slančíková-Timrava, and Ľudmila Podjavorinská) has been expanded by three other equally significant authors: Elena Maróthy-Šoltésová, Hana Gregorová, and Margita Figuli. Once again, we studied patterns from traditional folk costumes of their native regions, and as is our tradition, we photographed them on amazing teachers whom you yourselves recommended to us. Already with the first series, we realized that the older a person gets, the better they understand things they were never able to comprehend as a child. To truly understand certain works, ideas, or actions of others, one must mature. When you read the biographies of many writers with an adult perspective, you suddenly begin to understand them and realize that when you have a teacher who truly loves their work, they can teach children to empathize with the world of adults—and empathy is one of the most important qualities that helps us grow as human beings.
